20 minute Intro Consultation - Free!

  • During this introductory call, we’ll get to know each other and give you a specific outline of what our plan could be going forward. There will be no official “coaching” during this call, as this is just an opportunity to see if we’re a good fit.

A la carte Strategy Sessions

Best for:

  • Issue-based coaching around a specific challenge you’re having with your child/children (i.e. biting, hitting, screaming in the car, eating challenges etc.).

  • Families who’ve already taken one of our classes or workshops and want to fine tune a strategy or to dig deeper into a parenting tool they’re using (or want to use) in their home (family meetings, routine charts, special time, curiosity questions etc.)

  • Parents who are generally confident in their family/parenting style and who already understand what motivates or discourages their kids, but are looking for encouragement or specific resources.

  • Parents who have very young children/infants and want to start building a framework for positive parenting in their home.

Includes:

  • One hour-long strategy session

  • Ongoing text and email support for 2 weeks after initial session.

  • Access to our private Positive Parenting Seattle Facebook page with articles, tips and discussion with other parents involved in our classes/coaching.

Parenting with Confidence Package:
(1 month of coaching + 1 month follow up support)

Best for:

  • Parents finding themselves in frequent power struggles or in a place of overwhelm, frustration or anger with their kids multiple times throughout the day.

  • Parents looking for support and education in understanding their own parenting style and child development

Includes:

  • One 90-minute introductory session. We’ll discuss your family, the challenges you’ve been having, as well as the foundational elements of Positive Discipline to help you re-frame your parenting journey and your relationship with your kids. We’ll also discuss typical social-emotional development and brain development, and how that can shape the way you understand and react to your child(ren)’s behavior.

  • Three 30-min phone follow-ups (usually 1x/week for four weeks).

  • Parenting Goals & Action Plan. After introductory meeting, you’ll receive a written (emailed) action plan for your family, complete with goals, tools to work on, and specific language to introduce with your kids/partner/self during specific challenging moments. We’ll go back to this action plan during weekly follow-ups, evaluate what’s working and what’s not, and adjust strategies as needed. Your action plan will include homework for you/your partner.

  • Ongoing weekly text and email check-ins and support for 2 months after initial consultation.

  • Access to our private Positive Parenting Seattle Facebook page with articles, tips and discussion with other parents involved in our classes/coaching.

Building a Positive and Peaceful Family Package:
(1 month of education/training + 1 month of coaching + 1 month of follow up support)

Best for Parents and Families who:

  • Feel like they’ve tried to work through problems or challenges on their own, but still haven’t found something that really sticks or that fits their personality, style and vision for their family.

  • Consistently struggle with feelings of anger, inadequacy, guilt, or overwhelm; are worried that this “difficult phase” might last forever, or who are surprised and concerned about the amount of yelling, punishment, fighting and discord is happening in their homes.

  • Want to take our full 7 week course, but can’t fit classes into their schedule.

  • Want to create a unified, whole-hearted approach to their parenting, and who are ready to commit the time, attention, sense of humor, self-awareness and hard work that it takes to change our own behavior.

Includes:

  • Three 90-minute weekly work sessions (1/week for three weeks). We’ll dive deep into Positive Discipline (and other child development, family/relationship and brain development theory), and provide a solid framework around why children behave the way they do.  We’ll help you recognize the reasons behind their misbehavior and give you (lots of) tools to help them find appropriate ways to participate cooperatively in your family. This is the equivalent of a private version of our 7 week class.

  • Five 30-min phone follow-ups (usually 1x/week for five weeks).
*Additional follow up sessions are available for $50/30 min.

  • Parenting Goals & Action Plan. After our introductory meeting, you’ll receive a written (emailed) action plan for your family, complete with goals, tools to work on, and specific language to introduce with your kids/partner/self during specific challenging moments. We’ll go back to this action plan in each future conversation, evaluate what’s working and what’s not and adjust strategies as needed. Your action plan will include homework for you/your partner.

  • Ongoing weekly text and email check-ins and support for 2 months after initial consultation.

  • Access to our private Positive Parenting Seattle Facebook page with articles, tips and discussion with other parents involved in our classes/coaching.

  • Once program is complete, you’ll receive 20% off all future classes, coaching and workshops by Positive Parenting Seattle’s.
